A Vigil for Japan - March 21, 2011

Location: Old South Church, 645 Boylston Street, Copley Square, Boston

Please send hope by joining in a "VIGIL FOR JAPAN." Join others in the Boston community for this ecumenical gathering in solidarity and sympathy for everyone affected by the terrible disaster in Japan.

This vigil is hosted by The Japan Society of Boston and Old South Church, and will take place March 21, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.

    A candle light vigil in Boston tonight for those still suffering half a world away in Japan. It's a small gesture to show that Bostonians are thinking of the Japanese people and know that there will be brighter days ahead for the earthquake and tsunami ravaged country.

    Bostonians showed their sympathy and support Monday night for the victims of Japan’s devastating earthquake and tsunami. A 5 p.m. candlelight vigil was held at the Old South Church at Copley Square. The Japan Society of Boston hosted the event, which was free and open to the public.
