The Blue Fin Restaurant is proud to participate in the relief efforts to aid the victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.
We will donate 15% of our total sales and 100% of our fundraising Special Appetizers and Kids meals to the Japanese Disaster Relief Fund – Boston in support of the Boston – Japan Medical Relief Initiative.

An Origami workshop will be available. Children can learn how to make a Japanese helmet, a crane, flowers and much more and then participate in fun games.
The entertainment will begin at 6:00 pm with Koto and Flute performances by renowned musicians Sumie Kaneko and Mana Washio.
- Sumie Kaneko is a creative performer. She is not only a Jazz singer but also a Japanese traditional musician. She plays two kinds of Japanese instruments, Koto and Shamisen.
- Flutist Mana Washio is an active solo, chamber, and orchestra musician. She currently plays principal flute with the New England Philharmonic and the Neponset Valley Philharmonic Orchestra.
